Letter to Conservatives and Conservative Thinkers

Dear Fellow Conservatives and Conservative thinkers,
Our first Saugerties Conservative Party meeting for this year is scheduled for March 19th at 7:00 pm at the Frank Greco Canter on Market Street. If this is the first time you are receiving an invitation to our meetings, we welcome you. Please mark your calendars as it is more than a month away and we all know how fast times goes.
Two important items:
1. If you are not yet officially enrolled as a Conservative, the deadline to do so is February 14. The Board of Elections will not allow party changes again until after the November elections. As an enrolled Conservative you are allowed to vote in Conservative primaries, make endorsements and opens the door for you to become a committeeman, which is a key role in selecting candidates. Forms for party enrollment may be obtained from the Post Office. If you are unsure of your enrollment status, you can check with the Board of Elections at (845) 334-5470.
2. If you or anyone you know are interested in running for office, please respond to me via this email address (patriot246@gmail.com) rather than waiting until the March meeting.
Our Conservative Line is the third line on the ballot and is desirable to candidates particularly as it increases their chances of winning if they are also on one of the two other major party lines. As we are a smaller party, it gives us more of an opportunity to make our concerns (of which there are many in Saugerties) known to the candidates.
We look forward to your participation in achieving a victorious election. Please feel free to pass this on to your friends and/or neighbors who are not currently enrolled in a political party—or even those who may be conservative thinkers registered in another party but may be looking to make a change.
