Paul has put forth a very robust and impressive color-coded formula of what Saugerties needs, his goals and intentions to fulfill those needs and how Saugerties will benefit thereby.

The formula mentioned above is color-coded according to the following categories:

  • Blue = What Saugerties needs—What is the concern of the targeted audience (who cares)?
  • Green = The plans—What are you offering (concrete action)?
  • Red = How it differs from the current administration—How does it differ from what others offer (differentiator)?
  • Black = Your plan includes—What are the specifics (details)?
  • Purple = Expected results under your administration—What are the benefits (who and how will they benefit)?

Example: Our community is rightly concerned about and needs…. I will propose/institute a plan that does …. Unlike the current administration which has only done…., my plan includes…. which has these benefits….

Why You Should Support Kavanagh

Vote_11-5

The Best Candidate for District Attorney—If you were undecided about who to vote for as Ulster County District Attorney, an article appearing in the Freeman should definitely help make up your mind. That article is reprinted here and shows yet one more reason why everyone should support Mike Kavanagh as the best candidate.

"KINGSTON, N.Y. — A campaign mailer for David Clegg produced by a political action committee backed by George Soros has rattled the race for Ulster County District Attorney, because it features the candidate shaking hands with a Kingston activist who is also a convicted felon.
Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra believes the photo is proof of CleggΚΌs inability to understand the job of a district attorney. . . . ." [click here to read entire article]

The District Attorney Race—Experience Matters!

The District Attorney is the premier prosecutor in the county and when it comes to criminal prosecution, experience matters. In addition to his current position as Chief Assistant D.A., and an admirable list of his criminal-justice experience,
Mike Kavanagh’s recent flyer lists a number of significant cases from his record of convictions for major crimes. Study it carefully—it’s very impressive and it is worth a good look, so we're posting it here. Mike Kavanagh is truly the only candidate with a proven record.

Kavanagh on Bail Reform

An article by Ulster County District Attorney candidate, Mike Kavanagh, regarding the serious and important issue of bail reform appeared in Hudson Valley One. It is reprinted here, as well. This is a matter that should concern everyone, and the reader is urged to pay attention to it—and certainly pay attention to the District Attorney race.

"On Jan. 1, 2020, sweeping criminal justice reform legislation will take effect throughout New York State. This legislation will have a profound effect on the way the criminal justice system operates here in Ulster County …." click here to continue reading
