Feeds, (also known as RSS feeds) are content listings published by a website. They're used for news and blog websites, or for delivering other types of digital content such as photos, audio, or video. When you subscribe to a feed, new content is automatically downloaded from the website, so the feed is always up to date.

One of the ways feeds may be subscribed to is through the use of RSS reader software.
  • Click a link on personal webpages or go to a website that offers a feed. Click the “Feeds button” 9d96893b-09a7-4dca-849d-8a336ef41f17_51 to view feeds on the webpage. Click “Subscribe to this Feed.”
  • (For this blog, highlight and select "RSS Feed" located in the column on the left side of this page. A drop-down menu should open up where you can specify the URL for a feed ("feed://SaugertiesCP.com/blog/files/feed.xml" will be highlighted). Click the box in the lower-lefthand corner ("Show in Inbox") and click "Add."

NOTE: RSS Readers must be purchased separately for the latest Mac operating system versions (10.7 or later, 64-bit processor) at the App Store for $1.99 (as of this writing). It features a status bar icon for instant access and notifications in the Notification Center.

You will then receive notification by e-mail of a new post to this blog.

And, for now, until the Subscription page is complete, notification of anything new and/or important will be announced to SaugertiesCP.com readers by posting the announcement (and website address) in this blog.
